iRead4Skills promotes open sessions in Santiago de Compostela

The iRead4Skills project invites all interested parties to take part in the Open Sessions that will take place on 16 July at the University of Santiago de Compostela, in a hybrid format. This event aims to share the project’s latest advances and encourage debate on the ethical and practical challenges of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the context of adult learning and literacy.

The Open Sessions will feature guest experts who will address crucial topics such as ethics in AI, the challenges of assessing competences in adults and the solutions developed under the iRead4Skills project.

The agenda for the event is as follows:

Open Session I
11h00 – 11h30 | Presentation of the iRead4Skills Project
11h30 – 12h30 | Ethical AI: Innovation and Responsibility in High Performance Systems

Open Session II
13h30 – 14h00 | iRead4Skills in Practice: Demonstration of System Capabilities
14h00 – 15h30 | Ethical Challenges in the Assessment of Adult Literacy: Perspectives from PIAAC
