The iRead4Skills project met in Santiago de Compostela

On July 15 and 16, 2025, the University of Santiago de Compostela, CiTIUS – Centro Singular de Investigación en Tecnoloxías Intelixentes, hosted the iRead4Skills Consortium and Progress Meeting, with intensive sessions dedicated to presenting progress on the different Work Packages, planning future actions and strategic alignment with partners.

During the first day, participants met at the Centro de Estudios Avanzados to discuss project management, technical progress and dissemination strategies.

The second day took place at CiTIUS, with brainstorming sessions with adult education professionals, followed by two sessions open to the public with highly relevant topics: from the presentation of the iRead4Skills system and the debate on ethical artificial intelligence, to the challenges of assessing literacy in diverse educational contexts.

These sessions were attended by more than 200 online participants and 46 in-person.

This meeting reinforced the project’s commitment to responsible innovation, inclusion, and social impact.
